Nathan T. Parsons

Nathan Timothy Parsons, of Vermontville, passed away at the University of Vermont Hospital on Friday, Dec. 16, 2022.

Born on Dec. 31, 1971, in Port Jervis, he graduated from Port Jervis High School in 1990 and from Montclair State University with a bachelor’s degree in fine arts in 1995.

Nate was a master carpenter, a true artist with wood. Many examples of his artistry can be found around the Saranac Lake and Lake Placid area.

Nate leaves behind his wife of 22 years, Corinne Palmeri-Parsons; two daughters, Louisa and Edith Parsons; father Timothy Parsons and mother Rebecca Parsons; sisters, Sarah Beth Chionsini and Heather Foglia and her husband David Foglia; niece Helen Chionsini and nephew Day Chionsini; father-in-law Salvatore Palmeri and mother-in-law Nicole Palmeri; sister-in-law Kim Palmeri Naman and brother-in-law Vincent Naman; nieces Sena and Leilia Naman; and very importantly friends who loved, respected and admired him, his work and his integrity.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home, 20 Church St., Saranac Lake. At the family’s request, there will be no calling hours. Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
