Michael G. Rosler
Michael G. Rosler passed away peacefully at Glens Falls Hospital on Sunday, Oct.16, 2022.
He was born on Feb. 20, 1939 in New York City to Hans and Lieselotte Rosler. He leaves behind his sister Christiana Pinto, his nephew Adrian Dirks-Pinto and wife Michele and his great nephew Miles Dirks-Pinto, and his cousin Gabriele Rosler and second cousin Walther Rosler, as well as many friends.
Michael’s early childhood was spent in Argentina. He was a graduate of Upsala College in East Orange, New Jersey. He served in the U.S. Navy for 6 years. His working career was in insurance and as a litigator for Liberty Mutual and Commercial Union, from which he retired in 1994.
His passion was finances and traveling. He traveled the world over, always returning to recount the people he talked with and places he had seen. In 1994 he moved to Lake Placid and became a long time resident. He will be remembered and missed.
