Rosalie A. Kilfoyle
On Saturday, May 21, 2022, Rosalie A. Kilfoyle, loving wife and mother, passed away at Elderwood of Uihlein in Lake Placid, age 82, with family by her side.
Rosalie was born and raised in Saranac Lake. She loved her community and the beauty of the Adirondacks. She enjoyed country music, camping with her family, and walking in her younger years. She survived meningitis as a small child, and in spite of the long-term neurological consequences of that near fatal illness went on to live a full life characterized by determination, love and kindness. She will be greatly missed.
Rosalie’s husband of 56 years Francis M. Kilfoyle, son Randy Kilfoyle, daughter Lisa Webb, son-in-law Stephen Webb, beloved granddaughter Carys Webb, brother George Besaw, and sister-in-law Sara will cherish her memory.
She is preceded in death by her mother Clara Besaw, father George Talbot, brother Edward Talbot, and step-father George Besaw.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home, 20 Church St., Saranac Lake, NY 12983. At Rosalie’s request, there will be no calling hours.
Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Family and friends may make memorial contributions to the Saranac Lake Volunteer Rescue Squad in care of the funeral home.
