Bradley P. Pelky Sr.

He was born in Saranac Lake on April 13, 1951, the son of the late Paul Pelky Sr., and Veleta Martin Pelky. Brad was raised in Saranac Lake and in 1970 married Jacqueline Moon. Brad enjoyed a twenty-year career with Hanson of Oriskany Falls. He was a professional tractor-trailer driver at Hanson. He enjoyed the people he worked with, and the variety of road projects around the state. Prior to Hanson’s, he had been employed by the Town of Saranac Lake for numerous years. Following his retirement, he would enjoy the great outdoors, hunting and fishing. The times he enjoyed the most were when the kids and grandkids would all come together, for family functions.

Brad is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Jackie; his son Bradley P. Pelky Jr.; his son and daughter-in-law Ted and Cindy Pelky; his sister Meg Ferguson; his brother Paul Pelky Jr.; his cherished grandchildren: Dustin, Devan, Kyle, and Kayla; his beloved great grandchildren: Bella, Isaac, and Tucker.

Several nieces and nephews also survive Brad.

He was predeceased by his parents, Paul and Veleta and his sister Iva Walker.
