Death notice: Roger E. Smith
Word has been received of the death of Roger E. Smith, age 59, of Gabriels, who died on Sunday, Aug. 1, 2021 at Adirondack Medical Center.
Calling hours are tentatively set to take place at the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home on Thursday, Aug. 5 from 4 to 7 p.m. A fireman’s prayer service will take place at 7 p.m. Thursday night at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial is tentatively set to take place at 11 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 6 at Church of the Assumption in Gabriels, with Rev. Martin Cline officiating. Burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery in Gabriels. A complete obituary will be available on Wednesday.
