Clara Morgan-Layman

She was predeceased by her first husband, Donald W. Morgan Sr., in May 1985 and her second husband, Donald F. Layman Sr., in August 2005. Her love was baking, cooking, feeding people and serving God. Her talents shined at the New York Department of Environmental Conservation’s Camp Colby and Lake View Deli.

She is survived by her brothers Antony Schneider of London, Ontario, Canada, and Hans Schneider of Manheim, Germany; sons Steven R. Morgan Sr. of Sterling, Massachusetts, and Donald W. Morgan Jr. of Saranac Lake and Tupper Lake; grandchildren Tana Lee Morgan of Tupper Lake and Melissa M. Morgan-Maldonado, Nicholas A. Morgan and Steven R. Morgan Jr., all originally from Sterling, Massachusetts; one great-grandson, Morgan Maldonado; and many nieces and nephews.

She will be interred in Brookside Cemetery in Bloomingdale with her husband Donald Morgan Sr. in a private family ceremony June 19.
