Death notice: Akira Sato
Akira Sato, age 64, of Main Street, Lake Placid, died Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2021, at Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake.
Mr. Sato was born July 20, 1956, in Japan. He moved to the United States of America around 25 years ago and made Lake Placid his home.
There are no calling hours. A graveside remembrance service will be held in North Elba Cemetery, Lake Placid, on Friday, Feb. 5 at 1 p.m. Friends attending are encouraged to share a brief story or offer a prayer.
