Michelle Marie St. Amand

Michelle Marie St. Amand, age 40, of Saranac Lake, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2020, at her residence.

Michelle was born in Glastonbury, Connecticut, on Aug, 7, 1980, the daughter of Jerry St. Amand and Linda St. John.

Michelle was a longtime resident of Saranac Lake and worked for Citizen Advocates for a number of years before becoming disabled. She was a talented artist who loved art. She also enjoyed music and fishing in Pulaski with her friend. Michelle loved being outdoors. Most of all she loved her daughter very much.

Michelle is survived by her daughter Biancha Pelletieri of Saranac Lake; her mother Linda St. John of Saranac Lake; her sister Desiree St. Amand of Saranac Lake; and three brothers: Frank O’Dell and Chris David of Florida and Rob David of Saranac Lake. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Michelle was preceded in death by her father Jerry St. Amand, her paternal grandparents Blanche and Lawrence St. Amand, and her maternal grandparents Genevieve and Eugene O’Dell.

Funeral arrangements are in care of the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home in Saranac Lake.

Michelle’s family will receive friends at St. Bernard’s Church in Saranac Lake on Thursday, Oct. 8 from 5 to 6 p.m., with a memorial service immediately following at 6 p.m. at the church with the Rev. Martin Cline officiating. Family and friends are asked to please follow all COVID-19 recommendations including social distancing and wearing a mask.
