Betty Ellen Kerr

She was the wife of the late William Kerr.

Betty was born in Saranac Lake, a daughter of the late George Henry and Minnie Ellen (Tucker) Canty.

She lived most of her life in Saranac Lake before moving to Rhode Island to be with family.

She is survived by two daughters: Veronica Castaneda of Central Falls, Rhode Island, and Rosie Lownds of Bloomingdale, New York; a son, Wilfred Skiff of Saranac Lake; and a brother, Clifford Canty. She is also survived by four cherished grandchildren: Marcella Banker of Central Falls, Rhode Island, Emilio Flores of Central Falls, Rhode Island, Ricky Lownds of New York and Dakota Skiff of North Carolina. Another grandchild, Gordon John Banker Jr., has passed on. She also leaves behind four cherished great-grandchildren: Cellina Flores of Central Falls, Rhode Island, Gabriella Flores of Central Falls, Rhode Island, Emilio-John Flores of Central Falls, Rhode Island, and David Lownds of Bloomingdale, New York.

Her final resting place will be in upstate New York with her late husband at a date convenient to the family.
