Beatrice F. Clarey
Beatrice F. Clarey passed away at Elderwood of Uihlein at Lake Placid, in Lake Placid, on Sept. 14, 2020, three days shy of her 101st birthday.
Mrs. Clarey was born Sept. 17, 1919, in Lake Placid, the daughter of the late Daniel and the late Ruth (Pratt) Frayne.
She was predeceased by her husband Eddie, the love of her life. Beatrice is survived by her two sons, Michael and his wife Sue of East Syracuse and James of Manlius. She also has a niece, Karen Caligiori, of Lake Placid, who was like a daughter to her; four grandchildren: Aaron, Patrick, Daniel and Joanna; a great-grandchild, Emily; and a grandniece, Aimee Caligiori.
A time of visitation will be held Thursday, Sept. 17 at St. Agnes Church, Lake Placid, from 10:30 to 11 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Agnes Cemetery, Lake Placid.
The M.B. Clark Inc. Funeral Home in Lake Placid is in charge of arrangements.
The family suggests, in lieu of flowers, please make donations in memory of Beatrice F. Clarey to the donations to the Lake Placid Volunteer Fire Department.
