Earl Eugene Lawrence, Jr.
Earl Eugene Lawrence, Jr., age 81, formerly of Saranac Lake, died Friday, Aug. 7, 2020, at the C.V.P.H Medical Center in Plattsburgh.
Born in Saranac Lake, New York on Oct. 12, 1938, he was the son of Earl and Myrtle (Skeels) Lawrence, Sr.
Earl had been employed for Bezio Heating Company in Keeseville for many years until his retirement. He is a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving from Dec. 13, 1955 to April 10, 1958. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping.
He is survived by three sons, Earl Lawrence, III of Saranac Lake, Richard Lawrence of Saranac Lake, and Robert Lawrence of Saranac Lake; two daughters, Carol Lawrence of Saranac Lake and Constance Lawrence of Lake Placid; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Cathy (Green) Lawrence, two brothers Almon and Duane Lawrence and two sisters Grace Bushey, his Alice Lawrence.
Funeral arrangements are in care of the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home in Saranac Lake. A graveside service will take place at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 15, at the Hazelton Cemetery in Wilmington with Rev. David Ousley officiating.
