The bright guiding light in our family has now exhausted. Mom was the most independent, decisive, sensitive, selflessness and trustworthy woman. Many words describe our mom; amazing defines her the most. Family was Mom’s true meaning of love and loyalty. She was also devoted grandmother and great grandmother. Mom taught us many lessons in life, unconditional love and care for others. She didn’t believe in perfection, just simply honesty.

Mom loved warm summer days, the sounds of singing birds and beautiful flowers. In younger years, BINGO was her game. But most importantly, her family always came first. Mom went above and beyond for each one of us. Always there to listen, comfort and guide. Mom’s hugs and kisses and telling us “to be careful” will most definitely be missed. We take comfort in knowing God took Mom gently placed her in the arms of her loved ones who she so tremendously missed. Please God, keep her guiding light upon us and feel the warmth of her love and strength. Home is where the heart is, Mama, and our hearts and homes are full because of you. We will always “be careful” and will miss you every day. We will carry your love and legacy and live each day remembering what a incredible Mother we were blessed and honored to have. We love you, Mom.

There will be no calling hours. A private family service will be held with burial to follow in North Elba Cemetery. The Rev. Andrew Borden will officiate. The M.B. Clark Inc. Funeral Home in Lake Placid is in charge of arrangements. Relatives and friends are encouraged to share a memory, or leave condolences at www.mbclarkfuneralhome.com.
