Bonnie Sawyer Easton

Bonnie was born in Saranac Lake to Alma and Gordon Reginald Sawyer on March 29, 1956. She attended Saranac Lake High School and graduated in the class of 1974. She then went on to earn a degree in hotel/restaurant management from Paul Smith College. She worked in group sales at the Holiday Inn/Lake Placid Resort Crowne Plaza for the majority of her career.

Bonnie was known as a woman with a generous heart, she was always willing to give more than she received. Bonnie brought joy to others with her kindness and sense of humor, she loved her family and friends dearly and she will be missed and remembered as her life lives on through those who knew her.

Bonnie is survived by her son Marc of Charlotte, North Carolina; her daughter-in-law, Jennifer; granddaughter, Briana; mother, Alma; four sisters, Judy; Susie, Sherry, Donna; and her brother, Gordie. She is preceded in death by her husband Charles; her father, Gordon Reginald Sawyer and her sister Jean.

It was Bonnie’s wish that there would be no services after her passing and that all those who knew her remember her as she was before her illness. There will be a celebration of life gathering at a later date that is to be determined by her family and friends.
