Death notice: Richard Whitford
Richard Whitford of Lake Clear passed away peacefully on Oct. 20, 2019 in Homosassa, Florida. He was under the care of hospice both in New York and Florida.
There will be no calling hours at the request of the family. Richard will be laid to rest in Saratoga National Cemetery in the spring, when a memorial service will be held to honor Richard’s life. Funeral arrangements are in care of the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home in Saranac Lake. A more complete obituary will follow.
