Death notice: Joan Butler Hallett
Joan Butler Hallett, 88, of Lake Placid passed away Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2019, at Elderwood of Uihlein at Lake Placid in Lake Placid.
Mrs. Hallett was born Nov. 20, 1930, in Queens. She is the daughter of Wilbur S. and Helen M. (McKeon) Butler. She was the wife of Walter E. Hallett; he predeceased her.
There are no calling hours. A graveside service will be held Friday, Oct. 25 at 2 p.m. at North Elba Cemetery, Old Military Road, Lake Placid. The Rev. Richard Ducatte will officiate.
