Eunice Tyler
Eunice Tyler, 92, of Plattsburgh died peacefully on Sept. 15, 2019.
She was born in Churubusco on June 14, 1927, daughter of the late James and Alphonise “Allie” Murray.
She was a longtime resident of Saranac Lake and Gabriels. She worked in the cafeteria at Paul Smith’s College before retirement. She spent her later years at Keene Valley Neighborhood House and Meadowbrook Healthcare. She enjoyed reading, word puzzles and Bingo.
She is predeceased by her husband John H. Tyler. She is survived by her son Thomas, of Gabriels, and daughter Barbara (Jim) Landis, of Lancaster, Pennsylania, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters: Elizabeth Mangino of Middlesex, New Jersey, and Rita Brand of Schenectady. She is predeceased by two sisters: Annabel Smith and Anastasia Murray.
Funeral arrangements are in care of the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home, 20 Church St., Saranac Lake, NY 12983. There will be no calling hours, a graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 23 at Mountain View Cemetery in Gabriels.
