Born in Saranac Lake on March 14, 1928, she was the daughter of Maurice Vosburgh and and Gloria Thompson Vosburgh.
Rogene graduated from Saranac Lake High School. She attended the American Institute of Banking and Finance as well as art schools in New York City and the Farnsworth School of Art, under Jerry Farnsworth, in Siesta Key, Florida.
Rogene was an avid gardener, artist and connoisseur of antiques. She studied American history, with a focus on the 1700s to 1800s, and had an historic appreciation of the local Adirondacks that she loved. A little-known fact is that she was a lover of animals and worked for a time at the Saranac Lake animal shelter.

Mrs. LeMay was predeceased by her husband Peter Venance LeMay, her parents Maurice and Gloria Vosburgh, and her sister Gloria Vosburgh Donati.
Service will be held at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 29, to be followed by a graveside burial at the Harrietstown Cemetery. A reception will follow at the Porcupine Inn on Park Avenue from 1 to 4 p.m.
