Theresa M. (Clement) Gaff

Theresa Marie Clement Gaff, 76, passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2015, at Mercy Living Center in Tupper Lake after a battle with cancer.

Born April 2, 1939, in Tupper Lake, she was the daughter of Arthur and Jeanette Clement. She attended Tupper Lake High School and worked at the Tupper Lake Dress Factory, Mercy Hospital and Sunmount DDSO.

Theresa enjoyed spending time with her family, and she loved coffee hour with her friends. She loved spending her days after retirement cleaning the house, and at the end of the day, you could find her sitting in her rocking chair with her favorite beer and one of the dogs on her lap, watching a lifetime movie.

Theresa is survived by her daughter Cheryl Fee and her husband Thomas of Tupper Lake; three granddaughters: Michelle Reardon, Melissa Fowler and her husband Aaron, and Becky Gardner and her husband Dan, all of Tupper Lake; one stepgrandson, Alex Fee of Albany; nine great-grandchildren with another on the way. Also surviving are two brothers, Edward “Red” Clement and Arthur Clement Jr. and his wife Serena, all of Tupper Lake; two sisters, Joanne Mead and her husband Mike of Maryland, and Jeannine Stored and her husband Dick of Florida; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents, four brothers and two sisters.

Calling hours are scheduled for 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, May 3 with a service at 3 p.m. at the Stuart-Fortune-Keough Funeral Home in Tupper Lake.

The family would like to thank Mercy Living Center for all of the love and care it provided Theresa during her time there.
