Alan R. Ayotte

Alan Robert Ayotte, 47, of Tupper Lake passed away peacefully at his home on April 15, 2015.

He was born on Sept. 20, 1967, in Tupper Lake, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard and Shirley (Rolley) Ayotte.

He attended Tupper Lake High School. Then went on in life doing auto mechanic work, carpentry and electrical work.

There were many things he liked to do such as making furniture, spending time at camp, hunting, fishing, boating and spending time with his family. He was also a very avid snowmobiler.

He is survived by his wife of 15 years Melissa Ayotte; one daughter, Kristin Ayotte of Saranac Lake; three sons: Richard, Alan and Robert Ayotte; one stepson, Devon Parks and his mother Shirley Ayotte, all of Tupper Lake; three sisters: Ann Wilson and husband Keith of Westville, Lori Latray, Tammy Rice and husband Bob; and two brothers: David Dufrain and fiancee Janice White, and Stacey Ayotte and fiancee Jamie Martin, all of Tupper Lake; and many nieces and nephews.

He was pre-deceased by his daughter Justine Ayotte, father Richard Ayotte and brother-in-law William LaTray Jr.

Calling hours are scheduled from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday April 21 at the Stewart-Fortune-Keough Funeral Home in Tupper Lake. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 22 at Holy Name Church in Tupper Lake. A reception will follow at the Veterans of Foreign Wars on Park Street.
