Margaret ‘Peggy’ Bickford
Margaret “Peggy” Bickford, 62, of Lake Placid passed away on Sunday, Oct. 26, 2014 peacefully and surrounded by her family.
She was born on Sept. 28, 1952 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania to Frances Betters and Corrine Dubeck.
Peggy loved cooking, gardening and most importantly spending time with her family and friends. She will be missed for her warm smile, sense of humor and all around good nature. She worked for the family business for several years before cooking for the kids at Kinderpals.
She leaves behind her husband, Mark Bickford; a daughter Pamela (Michael) Shambo of AuSable Forks, and two grandchildren: Corrine and Dexter Shambo both of AuSable Forks.
Her final wishes were for no calling hours or services, but a memorial reception will be held at noon Saturday, Nov. 1 at her residence.
The M.B. Clark, Inc., Funeral Home in Lake Placid is in charge of arrangements.
