John O. Charette
Word has been received of the death of John Ovlu Charette, 63, of Wilmington, who passed away Sunday, Sept. 28, 2014 at the Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington, Vermont.
Born in Lake Placid on Oct. 10, 1950, he was the son of George and Anita (Smith) Charette.
John was a life long resident of the Saranac Lake area. He served as sergeant in the United States Air Force from 1973 to 1979.
He is survived by one son, one sister and seven brothers.
Funeral arrangements are in care of the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home. There will be no calling hours. A graveside service with military honors will take place at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 3 at St. Bernard Cemetery.
