New event, Street Fest, to take over downtown Saturday

SARANAC LAKE – Street Fest, an all new event, will come to Saranac Lake from 2 to 9 p.m. Saturday, July 20.

Those attending are encouraged to wear a costume to the free celebration of all the things that make this town such a great place to live.

The afternoon will be packed with performances, games for kids and adults, community art projects, magic, theatrics, whimsy, and more.

Here’s the schedule:

Main stage

2-2:45 p.m.: Crackin’ Foxy

3:15-4 p.m.: Grass Company

4:45-5 p.m.: Mary Poppins Jr. with Pendragon Theatre

5-6 p.m.: Gary Ferrar: Magician & Mentalist

6:30-7:15 p.m.: Crowfeather with artist Georgeanne Gaffney

7:45-8 p.m.: Nate Pultorak: Hits on the hammer dulcimer

8-9 p.m.: The Biscuit Rollers w/artist Victoria Celeste

4:40 p.m.: Kids Circus March
