The Big Takeover plays Friday at the Waterhole
SARANAC LAKE – The Big Takeover returns to The Waterhole Upstairs Music Lounge on Friday, June 7.
Lead by powerhouse, Jamaican-born singer and songwriter Nee Nee Rushie, The Big Takeover’s horn-powered global blend reveals deep fluency in reggae and world music, hints of soul and Motown, and their own infections brand of pop classicism.
This 7-piece band hailing from the Hudson Valley, recently released a new single “Shy” earlier this month off their upcoming album.
Tickets for the show can be purchased online (www.saranaclakewaterhole.com) or at the door for $10.
Doors open at 8 p.m., with local act Crowfeather opening the night at 9 p.m.
