Camp Pendragon’s auditions for ‘Mary Poppins Jr.’ Monday
SARANAC LAKE – Pendragon Theatre will host auditions for this summer’s Camp Pendragon production, Disney’s “Mary Poppins Jr.” on Monday, June 3 from 4 to 6 p.m.
Camp Pendragon is an intensive, month-long theatre workshop in July for students entering 8th grade through recently graduated high school seniors (approximately 14 through 18 year olds).
Campers experience what it takes to produce a professional musical from start to finish under the direction of Matt Sorensen, Elizabeth Cordes and choreographer, Terpsie Toon.
Camp Pendragon runs Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 1-28, with public performances of the musical July 19-28.
Auditionees must visit pendragontheatre.org to sign-up and should prepare a song that demonstrates range and personality. An accompanist will be provided and auditionees should bring a clearly marked copy of the song for them.
Scholarships are available; inquire at info@pendragontheatre.org or call 518-891-1854. Camp Pendragon alumni are performing a concert at the theatre on June 8 at 7 p.m. to raise money for the scholarships.
