Ouluska Pass Monday at Saranac Village at Will Rogers

SARANAC LAKE – Performing chamber music, Ouluska Pass, will play their 15th season in Saranac Lake at 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 14 at Saranac Village at Will Rogers.

Fresh from a year of concerts at Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center, plus tours and recordings at various venues, the members of Ouluska Pass are coming together to play in the Adirondacks, their favorite part of the summer, after an eight-year absence.

Founding member, violinist and musical saw player Gregor Kitzis, Gregor’s wife and new member, flutist Laura Thompson, previous Ouluska Pass members cellist Kate Dillingham, Saranac Lake resident violinist Elaine Dewar and violist and member of the Lake Placid Simonetta Denise Cridge will be playing music written hundreds of years ago as well as music arranged especially for these concerts.

As always the musicians will speak with the audience before performing to share with you what’s unique about each piece and what to listen for. Everyone is invited to meet and chat with the musicians after the concert.

This concert is open to the public and a $5 donation is requested.

Refreshments will be served.
