Will Rogers goes ‘Down to the Sea’ with Gerry Lemmo

SARANAC LAKE – Photographer and world traveler, Gerry Lemmo will present a digital slide show on life at the seashore at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Saranac Village at Will Rogers.

From the beaches of Maine to coastal Alaska, images shown a this presentation will include the comical puffin, diamondback terrapin, a primitive horseshoe crab, feisty Stellar’s sea lions and starfish in a tidal pool.

Lemmo’s photographs have been featured in many books, calendars and magazines including National Geographic, Adirondack Life and Adirondack Explorer. He has also worked with the National Audubon Society, International Paper, The Nature Conservancy, General Electric, the San Diego Zoo, The Times of London and the National Wildlife Federation.

Lemmo has visited six continents and has a collection of over 70,000 photographs, some which have been seen in over 20 countries.

This program is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
