Lynch exhibits nature photos at Paul Smith’s College VIC

PAUL SMITHS – A collection of photographs by Mike Lynch is now on display at the Great Room at the Paul Smith’s College VIC.

The exhibit, “Summit to Sea,” is part of the New Moon Art Series. It includes landscape and wildlife photographs from the Colorado Rockies, Atlantic Coast, and Adirondack Park.

The show runs until March 7, and a meet the artist reception will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 21.

A Saranac Lake resident, Lynch is an outdoors writer and photographer who works part time for both the Adirondack Explorer and Northern Forest Canoe Trail. His photos have been published by the Associated Press, Canoe and Kayak magazine, AMC Outdoors, Adirondack Outdoors, Adirondack Life, New York Outdoor News, Seven Days and numerous other media outlets.

From 2007-2014, he worked as a full-time outdoors and sports writer for the Adirondack Daily Enterprise.

The New Moon Art Series at the Paul Smith’s College VIC features the works of artists with Adirondack connections. The art changes monthly on the new moon. VIC center staff work with more than 60 local artists to provide an eclectic and sometimes eccentric variety of nature themed art.
