SARANAC LAKE — The Adirondack Educational Center (AEC), part of Franklin-Essex-Hamilton BOCES, will host an Open House today, from 5 to 7 p.m. at 711 state Route 3, Saranac Lake.

The event invites students, families, and community members to explore AEC’s wide range of career and technical education and alternative education programs. Featured programs include Auto Technology, Building Trades, Cosmetology, Culinary Arts, Natural Resource Science, Security & Law Enforcement, New Vision Education, New Vision Health and Marine Technology.

Guests will have the opportunity to meet instructors, tour classrooms and labs, and see hands-on learning in action. It’s a great opportunity to see all that the campus offers and learn more about the pathways available to students.

Light refreshments prepared by the Culinary Arts program will be available, giving visitors a taste of the skills students are mastering.
