LAKE PLACID — The Dam Duck Race is celebrating its 20th anniversary this weekend. Join the Rotary Club of Lake Placid at Lisa G’s this Saturday to eat, race ducks and enjoy live music, with a chance to win prizes. There will be lots of kids’ entertainment, from face painting to hula hoops and more.

The event starts at 5 p.m. with live music from the Spring Street band and all-you-can-eat dinner for $15 per person. Duck racing starts at 6:15 p.m. Duck tickets can be purchased now from a Rotarian and at GW Prat Insurance Agency, Terry Robert’s Wine and Spirits and Lisa G’s. First prize is $1,500, as well as second and third place prizes and several other prizes.
