Sinfonietta plans Midsummer Gala for Aug. 1

LAKE PLACID — Tickets are still available for the Lake Placid Sinfonietta’s “Midsummer Gala” at 6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 1.

Enjoy drinks, silent auction and a buffet dinner accompanied by live music to support the Orchestra of the Adirondacks.

The summer gala is from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. in the Adirondack Dining Room at The Whiteface Club and Resort, 165 Lodge Way, Lake Placid.

The gala will honor Sinfonietta benefactors Dr. Claude Roland and Allola McGraw.

Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres will precede a buffet dinner. Entre options include chicken, beef and vegetarian dishes.

Each ticket includes two beverages.

Live music is with String Soulstice Lite, featuring Michael Welch and Jennifer Kessler.

Tickets are $200 per person. Parking is available at the venue.
