North Elba Democratic Caucuses are tonight
Supervisor, two board seats, justice position up for nomination
NORTH ELBA — The North Elba Democratic Party is holding its caucuses at 6 p.m. tonight at 193 River St. in Saranac Lake to select its slate of candidates for several local offices that will be on the ballot in the Nov. 4 General Election.
These include town supervisor, currently held by Derek Doty, two council positions currently held by Jason Leon and Rick Preston and town justice, which is currently held by Dean Dietrich. All registered Democrats residing within the town are eligible to vote.
The town supervisor position carries a two-year term, while the council and justice positions each carry four-year terms.
