SARANAC LAKE — Main Street in Saranac Lake came alive this past weekend with chrome, horsepower and community spirit as the Cruisin’ 2025 Car Show rolled into town for its debut event. A total of 91 classic and custom vehicles lined Main Street and the Main Street parking lot, creating a vibrant, nostalgic atmosphere for locals and visitors alike.

Attendees traveled from near and far to be part of the show — with the farthest traveler coming from Colorado, and a close second from Florida, just to attend the car show.

The event drew reviews from participants, many calling for the car show to become a staple of Saranac Lake’s summer event schedule. One enthusiastic car owner shared, “This is the best thing that has happened in this town.” Another added, “This is high up there with Winter Carnival.”

The show’s coordination and community feel even impressed seasoned showgoers. One visitor remarked, “I’ve been to car shows down in Florida with over 300 people, and this is the most well-coordinated car show I’ve ever been to.” A local participant summed it up best: “I’m a local, and this should’ve been, and should be, part of the Saranac Lake summer events every year.”

Historic Saranac Lake brought a cultural layer to the day, presenting a collection of historical posters that told the story of automobiles in the Adirondacks and celebrated local icons, Wes Moody and Hawkeye, pioneers in the region’s automotive legacy.

Starting at $19.00/week.
