LAKE PLACID — The Lake Placid Department of Public Works will be doing a second round of hydrant flushing for about two weeks, starting on Monday. Between Monday and Friday, flushing will be happening on Mill Pond Drive, McKinley Street, School Street, McLenathan Avenue, Colden Avenue, Spring Street, Sentinel Road, Station Street, Old Military Road, Trillium Drive, Blueberry Ridge Road, Hurley Avenue, Balsam Street, Johnson Avenue, Newman Road and Summer Street.

From June 9 until June 13, flushing will take place on Algonquin Drive, Snowberry Lane, Whiteface Inn Road, Averyville Road, Moongate Lane, Amanda Drive, Old Barn Road, Cascade Road, Bear Cub Road, Snowberry Lane and Everyville Lane.

Flushing will take place between approximately 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. Residents with questions or concerns can call the highway garage at 518-523-2002.
