SARANAC LAKE — The Dorsey Street parking lot will be closed overnight from Tuesday night to Wednesday morning for sweeping and paint striping. All cars left in the lot will be towed during that time.

Dorsey is one of the lots in town that allows overnight parking. People who park overnight there will have to park at the Main Street lot behind the former police station on the corner of Lake Street, in the Midtown Lot next to the skate park on Church Street or along St. Bernard Street, Kiwassa Road, the portion of Main Street north of Church Street or along the southern end of Dorsey Street between the lot and George LaPan Highway.

The lot will have a sign at the opening and the light on the bridge will be lit all of Tuesday warning people to not park overnight that night.

The closure will start at 11 p.m. on Tuesday and last until 8 a.m. Wednesday.
