SARANAC LAKE — Party on the Patio will continue and Upstairs Music Lounge shows will begin to return at the Waterhole in Saranac Lake this month.

Organ Fair Child, from Buffalo, will rock the Party on the Patio stage tonight. This trio of friends has been playing music together since the early 1980s. They took their stab at writing original music together a few years ago. Think old-school organ trio, with dance-heavy grooves and adventurous jamming.

From the woods of northern New Jersey, The Outcrops will perform Thursday, Sept. 12 with their original blues infused rock ‘n’ roll. The four-piece band was formed in 2016 by lead vocalist Cassidy Rain and lead guitarist Bryan Schroder. Cassidy has been compared to Bonnie Raitt and Susan Tedeschi, but her raw sensibility as a front woman could easily bring comparisons to blues legend Muddy Waters.

Returning to Party on the Patio on Sept. 19 is Yam Yam, a band that formed in late 2015. The band is inspired by 1970s soul music, New Orleans roots and jazz music, and modern/vintage funk and jam music. Yam Yam features raw instruments and captures a highly energetic sound.

Los Blancos return to Party on the Patio Thursday, Sept. 26. For more than a decade, they’ve rocked thousands of shows across tens of thousands of miles, reveling in a genuine passion for what they do.

September will also mark the return of ticketed shows in the Upstairs Music Lounge.

On Saturday, Sept. 14, The Station will present “Music For Chaotic Times.” This event will feature three different acts, Cinemartyr, Magic User and All The Pretty Things. Tickets are $10 and available at the door. No pre-sales or online tickets will be available.

On Sept. 28, the Strictly Hip, who perform the music of the Tragically Hip, return to the Waterhole. This band last performed to a packed house during Winter Carnival 2024. The band takes an almost academic approach to performing the music of Canada’s most popular band, performing with reverence, respect and accuracy. Tickets bought in advance are $17; day-of tickets are $20.
