Oktoberfest returns to Whiteface
WILMINGTON — The Whiteface Mountain Ski Center will be hosting its annual Oktoberfest 2024 this Saturday and Sunday.
The event will feature performances by die Schlauberger, The Adlers, Schachtelgebirger Musikanten (Scha-Musi), the Alphorn Trio and the Alpenland Taenzer dancers. For the kids, there will be entertainment provided by The Give & Take Jugglers and Wyatt the magician, as well as activities like pumpkin painting, touch a truck and bounce houses.
“We’re looking forward to the performances and seeing all the kids having a good time,” said Lauren Garfield, marketing and sales manager at Whiteface, which is operated by the state Olympic Regional Development Authority. “Having a big crowd here at Whiteface for the first time leading into the winter is always so exciting for us.”
