Yes, deer … and dear
A deer takes a break from eating to smile for the camera near North Country Community College on Friday. She was rather amicable about being photographed. She let the reporter get close without raising her tail or stomping a foot, which SUNY ESF says would have been signs of unease. Every day, an adult white-tailed deer needs to eat about 5 to 7 pounds of food, depending on the season and the stage of their mating and pregnancy cycles. (Enterprise photo — Galen Halasz)
Jillian Blodgett of New York City (white hat), Amanda Hemtteman of New York City (dark hat), Emily Mastellar of Geneva (far right) and Hannah Nelson of Waterloo hike Baker Mountain in Saranac Lake on Friday as part of Mastellar’s bachelorette party.
