SARANAC LAKE — Karen Morris will be the featured artist at the Adirondack Artists Guild for the month of July.

Morris, a potter, will present “Bel Tavolo” (Beautiful Table), a collection of functional pottery for table and kitchen crafted from white speckled stoneware, finished in simple whites and blues.

“I strive to make each piece useful and practical. I hope these pieces, designed for the rituals of daily life, find a place on your table,” she wrote of her work.

The show will open on Friday, July 5, with a reception from 5-7 p.m. It runs through July 30. The Adirondack Artists Guild gallery is located at 52 Main St., Saranac Lake. Gallery hours are Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sundays.
