Library system seeks works by local authors, photographers
Anthology to celebrate library system’s 70th anniversary
Calling all authors, poets and photographers: The Clinton-Essex-Franklin Library System will be publishing an anthology of writings and photos by local authors and artists in commemoration of its 70th anniversary.
The library system is seeking submissions from anyone who lives, works, vacations, or has an interest in New York’s North Country. The system is accepting works for consideration now through Aug. 19.
“We are looking for poetry, short stories, personal narratives and photographs — and if they have a distinctive North Country flavor, all the better,” a news release from CEFLS reads.
The Clinton-Essex-Franklin Library System is a New York chartered corporation created specifically to support and enhance library services in the three counties through its 30 member public libraries. Originally chartered in 1954, it is now celebrating our 70th anniversary.
