SARANAC LAKE — Saranac Village at Will Rogers will welcome Charlie Reinertsen to the Great Room at 7 p.m. Saturday, April 20 for a public concert.

In addition to performing professionally across New England, Reinertsen founded Twolined Studio. He is a photographer, videographer, writer, exhibit developer, naturalist guide and a commercially licensed drone pilot. He is also the host and producer of the Saranac Lake Hootenanny, a weekly event at the Garagery, showcasing Adirondack musicians.

One of Reinertsen’s Northern Peatlands Project photograghs just took top honors in the annual juried art show at the Adirondack Artists’ Guild. Adrien Vlach, activities staff at Will Rogers, recognized the winning piece while touring galleries with the retirees.

“You’re going to get to meet that artist,” Vlach said. “He’s bringing his guitar to your living room.”

Saranac Village at Will Rogers is hosting the concert as part of its monthly public performance series. Will Rogers is an independent living community for retirees. At the concert, Reinertsen will play a mix of folk, jazz and old country tunes.

Saranac Village at Will Rogers is located in Saranac Lake at 78 Will Rogers Dr. Admission is a $5 suggested donation. The building is accessible, and light refreshments will be provided. For more information, contact Adrien Vlach or Debbie Kanze at 518-891-7117.
