SARANAC LAKE — The Pendragon Theatre is inviting the community to participate in kicking off “eclipse weekend” with the reading of a play totally urelated to that celestial event.

A free staged reading of “The Pathless Woods” by Karen L. Lewis, with Laura Farrell and Tekonwenaharake Sunday and directed by Beth Glover on Saturday, April 6 at 3 p.m. at Pendragon Theatre. The theatre is located at 15 Brandy Brook, Saranac Lake.

“The Pathless Woods” is an exploration of life, death, loss and moving on.

“Two young strangers with seemingly different agendas meet on an Adirondack mountain top,” a news release from Pendragon reads. “Sarah is distraught and looking for answers. Will Jess keep her from taking the wrong path?”

The playwright, actors and director hope attendees will stick around after the approximately one hour of playing time to share a beverage, snacks and discuss their reactions to the script.

No reservations necessary. The play is appropriate for those ages 13 and over.
