Sparkle Village returns

Martha Watts was selling a variety of hand-made goods at the Sparkle Village Craft Show and Sale in Saranac Lake on Saturday, including quillings, a craft which involves rolling thin strips of paper into ornate designs, such as snowflakes, rainbows or waves. It's an art form which has fallen out of popularity, but one she really enjoys. "What it takes is patience and good fine motor skills," Watts said. (Enterprise photo — Aaron Marbone)
