Adirondack Lakes Theatre Festival presents ‘You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown’

BLUE MOUNTAIN LAKE — The Adirondack Lakes Center for the Arts continues its Adirondack Lakes Theatre Festival season with “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown.”

Clark Gesner’s musical, based on the comic strips by Charles M. Schulz, explores life through the eyes of Charlie Brown and his friends in the Peanuts gang.

Stage directed by George Cordes and music directed by Elizabeth Cordes, this production opens this Friday at the arts center at 7 p.m. Following performances include Tannery Pond Center in North Creek on Saturday at 7 p.m.; View Arts in Old Forge on Sunday at 3 p.m.; Tupper Lake Middle/High School Auditorium in Tupper Lake on Tuesday at 7 p.m.; and Indian Lake Theater in Indian Lake on Wednesday at 7 p.m. Tickets and more information can be found at adirondackarts.org/altf/charlie-brown.

The cast features talented singing actors from New York City and across the North Country, including Laura Farrell as Charlie Brown, Annachristi Cordes as Lucy, Danielle LaMere as Snoopy, Kendall “Milo” Davison as Sally, the show’s choreographer, Kirsten Denis, as Linus, Samuel Brown as Schroeder, and Raegan Fritts as Woodstock.
