The Adirondack Singers began their fall rehearsal schedule on Tuesday at the Adirondack Alliance Church on George Lapan Highway in Saranac Lake. Rehearsals will continue every Tuesday evening through Nov. 29.

This group of community singers from the Tri-Lakes and beyond will be preparing their annual Winter Holiday Concert, scheduled for 2 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 4, in Saranac Lake. These annual Winter Holiday concerts have been held for over 35 years.

A special dress rehearsal will be held on Friday, Dec. 2.

Musical Director Karen Butters said the program will include some new treatments of several traditional winter holiday songs. The group plans to revisit some of the singers’ favorites, along with other surprises.

New members are always welcome in the Adirondack Singers, according to a news release from the group.

No auditions are needed, only a commitment to learn the music and perform in the concerts. Nominal dues are charged every season.
