SARANAC LAKE — In celebration of the return of the Willard Hanmer Guideboat Races and the event’s 60th anniversary, a guideboat show will be on display at the Hotel Saranac next week.

Located in the ballroom of the Hotel Saranac, the first annual show will feature several antique and modern guideboats, an exhibit on Willard Hanmer, video presentations — including Willard Hanmer building a guideboat, powerboat racing from the Old Saranac Boat and Waterways Club and a slideshow from Historic Saranac Lake, as well as some of the trophies for the acrual races on Sunday, July 3.

The show will be on display Tuesday through Thursday, June 28 to June 30, between noon and 9 p.m.
