Common Ground Alliance registration opens

The 16th annual Adirondack Common Ground Alliance Forum will take place on Wednesday, June 15, at Gore Mountain Ski Resort in North Creek.

The event will feature presentations, interactive small group discussions and networking opportunities designed to get participants talking about several of the most pressing issues facing the Adirondacks — housing, outdoor recreation, climate change and community vibrancy. These conversations are then distilled into a series of proposed action items for state and local elected officials and policymakers.

The Common Ground Alliance was formed in 2007 to identify opportunities for collaboration amongst different — and at times, competing — Adirondack stakeholders.

This led to the development of the annual Blueprint for the Blue Line, a document that summarizes and builds upon the takeaways of each year’s forum. Past Blueprints are now available at commongroundadk.org.

Advanced registration is required and is now open at commongroundadk.org.

Tickets are $40 for adults and $25 for students and include lunch, refreshments and a scenic gondola ride.

For more information about registration, contact Doug Haney at 518-524-4674 or via email at doug@greatrange.org.
