Mallach: Back and busy

Harrietstown Supervisor Jordanna Mallach arrived back in town just after midnight on Sunday from her deployment with the Army as part of NATO’s Task Force Mansfield. She began her work in person at the town hall for the first time since being elected at 11 a.m. on Monday. Mallach spent the first three months of her term stationed in Kosovo, 4,000 miles away. Nearly her entire campaign, starting in June 2021, was spent abroad. Monday was spent getting situated at her new desk. “I just got organized, like anybody would at their first day at a new job,” she said. Mallach is seen here Monday flipping through a rolodex of phone numbers, which she plans to add to her phone contact list. Behind her, written on a whiteboard, is a list of people she plans to meet with in person for the first time in her term. She was busy on Monday, but well-rested. “It’s nice to be back in my own bed,” Mallach said. (Enterprise photo — Aaron Cerbone)
