With a little help from my friend

Lucy Dearborn, 8, left, teaches her friend Sophie Surprenant, 10, to skate at the Saranac Lake Civic Center on Monday. Dearborn has been skating for most of her life and this was Surprenant’s first time on skates ever. She was worried about falling but Dearborn was holding onto her. “If you let go I’m going to punch you in the face,” Surprenant joked. “If you fall, I fall, OK? So don’t fall,” Dearborn said.
