REDC grant info sessions planned

This morning is the first of four information sessions the North Country Regional Economic Development Council will hold for the 2021 Consolidated Funding Application, an economic development grant program that streamlines multiple state funding sources into one application.

Three virtual workshops will provide an overview of the online application and the CFA process, followed by separate question and answer opportunities. Additionally, virtual office hours sessions will be held with members of Empire State Development’s North Country regional office. Preregistration is required.

In May, New York launched Round 11 of the REDC initiative, which will award more than $750 million across the state. This year, $150 million in ESD grant funding will be available on a rolling basis. The CFA opened to applicants on May 10.

The deadline for applications is July 30 at 4 p.m.
