MALONE — The Franklin County Economic Development Corp., in conjunction with Franklin County and the Tourism Advisory Committee, has announced a third round of funding for the Destination Development and Marketing Program.

This competitive program awards funding to tourism-related businesses and organizations for tourism-related projects, on a 50% match reimbursement basis. Qualifying projects include those that either create new opportunities or further develop existing opportunities that enhance the experience of visitors to Franklin County. The minimum award amount is $500; the maximum is $5,000.

The deadline to submit applications is April 15. Applications will be scored and awardees will be notified in May. Awardees will be given 12 months to complete their projects and meet the obligations outlined in their DDMP agreement.
